ICAS 2026 will bring together a global community of aerospace professionals to explore the latest developments in an expansive range of topics, such as aircraft design, propulsion and energy, systems integration, aerodynamics, materials, and digital engineering. These focus areas reflect Boeing’s ongoing commitment to advancing technologies that improve performance, sustainability, and safety across the aviation ecosystem.

With nearly a century of heritage in Australia, Boeing has become a cornerstone of the nation’s aerospace industry. Its operations span advanced manufacturing, defence systems, research and development, modeling and simulation, supported by a robust local supply chain and thousands of employees across the country. Boeing’s investment in sovereign capability and innovation makes it a natural partner for ICAS 2026, which will spotlight Australia’s contributions to global aerospace advancement.

Boeing’s Commitment to Global Collaboration

“ICAS serves as a crucial international forum for the aeronautical community, enabling the exchange of innovative ideas and fostering collaboration essential for advancing aviation’s future,” said Michael Edwards, vice president, Boeing Technology Innovation. “The 2026 congress offers a vital platform to collectively push the boundaries of aerospace innovation, and as the Platinum Sponsor, Boeing is delighted to support this global dialogue in Australia.”

“Boeing has a proud and long-standing history of supporting ICAS,” said Laurette Lahey, director of Flight and Vehicle Technology, Boeing Technology Innovation. “This congress serves as an unparalleled platform for collaboration and learning from experts in the field. The Sydney event promises to be an outstanding showcase of advancements in aeronautical science and offers a unique opportunity to engage with the global research community to tackle real-world challenges.”

A Partnership for Progress
