Submission Requirements

  • Selection Criteria: Authors are invited to submit abstracts for the ICAS Congress, with selection based on the quality of the abstract. Key selection criteria include scientific/technical content, relevance to the field, clarity, and completeness. Abstracts should be concise, written in English, and contain a title.

  • Abstract Requirements:

    • All submissions must be in English. English is the official congress language and all presentations must also be in English

    • Submission titles must not be longer than 20 words and must clearly indicate the nature of the presentation

    • Submission must have a minimum 500 words and maximum of four pages.

    • Submissions must Include purpose, technical foundation, preliminary results, expected outcomes, and relevant figures, tables, equations, and references.

    • All papers should demonstrate the  likelihood of completing the work by the final manuscript deadline.

  • Author Information:

    • Please include names, affiliations, mailing addresses, phone numbers, and emails.

    • Only the first three authors will appear in the final program; all authors must be acknowledged in the paper.

  • Paper Type:

    • Please indicate if the paper is for an oral or interactive presentation.

    • Specify if the paper qualifies as a student paper (refer to student paper submission details on the upload page).

  • Additional Requirements: A short 50-word summary for the final program is also required, along with the relevant ICAS topic area. If unsure, select the most appropriate topic, as it may be reassigned by the programme committee.

Congress Proceedings

All papers accepted for presentation (oral, standby and interactive presentations) will be included in the Congress Proceedings online which will be published in the German national library. Please notice that a paper will not be included in the Proceedings if it is not presented at the Congress. ICAS Proceedings are indexed in Scopus database as serial conference proceedings. We will offer all authors to index their paper with a DOI number. The best papers will be proposed for special issues in the partner journals from the ICAS Member Societies.
