Visa Frequently Asked Questions
Applying for an Australian Visa
Visa Invitation Letters
Visa invitation letters are automatically generated on completion and payment of your ICAS registration.
As delegate passport information will be passed on to the Australian Department of Home Affairs as confirmation of attendance, we are unable to support delegates who have not completed payment first.
Visa Application Statuses
We, as the congress organisers, are unable to provide updates on the status of your visa application – this is strictly the role of the Australian Department of Home Affairs.
Additionally, we are also unable to impact or alter the outcomes of visa applications. You will need to contact the department of Home Affairs directly for an update on this information.
Visa Refusals
Should your visa application be refused, we will refund your registration costs less an AUD$250.00 administrative fee. Proof of refusal will be required, and all refunds will be processed post-congress.
